After more than 15 years of being on the other side of event planning (planning nonprofit events all over Houston for a living), I knew we would do something different when we opened Brandt 1910 near Fulshear. We made a promise to ourselves and to our couples: no surprises, no gotchas—just clear, honest pricing.

Planning your wedding should be a joyful, exciting process—not a stressful guessing game of what's really included in your venue rental. Unfortunately, many couples don’t discover hidden fees until it’s too late. From unexpected setup charges to photo session fees, these costs can sneak up and derail your budget fast.

At Brandt 1910, we believe the space you choose to say “I do” should help bring your vision to life, not cause you to pull out your calculator every five minutes. If you're planning a wedding in or around Fulshear, here are some common venue fees you’ll see elsewhere—but not with us.

1. Setup and Breakdown Fees

You shouldn't have to pay extra for someone to set up your tables or help you move chairs. At Brandt 1910, we handle setup and breakdown as part of your rental—no add-on, no surprise invoice.

2. Cleaning Fees

We handle all the cleanup so you can head to your afterparty without a second thought and make a getaway in that dreamy ride without a second thought of who will pick up the linens off of the tables.

3. Parking Fees

Unlike venues closer to Houston that tack on valet or guest parking fees, we offer free, convenient parking. That’s just one of the perks of booking a venue near scenic Fulshear—we’ve got space to spare.

4. Outside Vendor Fees

Some venues force you to use their vendors and charge a fee if you bring in your own. Not here. At Brandt 1910, you choose the vendors you love. We’ll even send you a curated list of trusted professionals to help, but the final decision is always yours—with no penalty.

5. Minimum Spend Requirements

Big-city venues often require couples to hit a minimum spend on food or drinks. We don’t. Whether you’re hosting a chill taco-truck reception or a gourmet seated dinner, you’re in control of your budget.

6. Photo Session Fees

Want to take your engagement or bridal photos at the venue? Go for it. We won’t charge you extra for that. In fact, we encourage it! Why not get those perfect shots in the same beautiful space where you’ll say your vows?

7. Charges for Linens or A/V Equipment

Basic stuff—like table linens or speakers—shouldn’t be treated like luxury extras. We include house linens and A/V gear (yes, including a 15-foot screen and sound system) with every rental. Play your Spotify playlist, cue your slideshow, or mic up your officiant—it’s all part of the package.

8. Supply Charges (Toilet Paper, Ice, Cups—Seriously?)

9. Site Manager Fee

Having a knowledgeable person onsite to keep things running is crucial. At Brandt 1910, a dedicated site manager is always included. They’ll be there to answer questions, help vendors get settled, and make sure everything flows smoothly from start to finish.
